Welcome to La Palomilla Bed & Breakfast

I visited Mexico City multiple times for work, and in a big city, it’s easy to feel a bit lonely. Well, at least in my case, when I had just started traveling solo for work at a young age. La Palomilla Bed & Breakfast is a place where you instantly feel at ease. And that’s exactly what the B&B wants to offer, as “La Palomilla” means, your closest group of friends. A hundred years ago, La Roma was already the gathering place for such groups, friends, writers, and artists, also known as palomillas.

The rooms

La Palomilla Bed & Breakfast offers seven rooms, each with its own unique theme. Owner Alessandra named them after her friends and family, and decorated the rooms based on themes like toys, rock music, landscapes, religion, lucha libre (wrestling), and yoga, all inspired by Mexican culture. There are three master suites of 40m² and two junior suites of 32m², each with a private bathroom. The two standard rooms (also 32m²) have a private bathroom, located just outside the room. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, equipped with everything you need, including air conditioning for warmer days and organic toiletries in the bathrooms.
