Uga Prāva consists of seven stunning suites, spread across different levels. The rooms are modern and stylishly designed, with a calm color palette of sand, grey, and ocean blue, and plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows.
You can choose from three room types: the Hermit Suite, the Horizon Suite, and the spacious Coral Suite, which is perfect for families. I personally stayed in one of the three Horizon Suites, a room where I could easily have stayed for days longer.
In this suite, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the sea, where the waves gently roll against the rocks. A calming sound that you never seem to get enough of. From the spacious balcony with sun loungers, you can enjoy the view and the sounds in complete peace. The luxurious bathtub with sea view is also a wonderful place to relax. Small touches such as cookies, nuts, and tea complete the experience.
In the restaurant at Uga Prāva, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. You can choose to stay on a half-board or full-board basis, which I would definitely recommend, as everything on the menu is delicious. On the first evening, I was incredibly lucky with a seven-course seafood menu: refined starters featuring various types of fish, followed by an extensive seafood barbecue. Absolutely delicious. On a beautiful evening, the staff can prepare a special candlelight experience by the pool for you.
Lunch is ordered à la carte and can be enjoyed on your balcony or under palm trees by the pool. Think tuna tartare, shrimp tacos, and fresh seafood pastas. In the evening, you let the staff know what and where you would like to have breakfast the next morning. The service is completely tailored to your wishes, and the staff does everything possible to make your stay as perfect as it can be.

Of course, you can choose to simply enjoy the sun, sea, and beach during your stay at Uga Prāva. Something I would certainly recommend, especially if you have already completed a round trip through Sri Lanka. But if you feel like being active in the area, there is plenty to do.
