When I think of Ibiza, I think about sun, sea, beach, good food and drinks, but above all: Enjoy the beautiful nature and completely unwind from daily life. And there is no better place to do this than at Can Lluc, a finca located in the interior of the island, surrounded by countless fig and olive trees, flowers, lizards and greenery. Curious to learn more about this lovely place? In this article I’ll tell you all about boutique hotel rural Can Lluc – Agroturismo on Ibiza.
Welcome to boutique hotel rural Can Lluc – Agroturismo Ibiza
On a dirt road from San Rafael, right through the valley, you reach the entrance of boutique hotel rural Can Lluc. And as soon as you enter the gate, you know that you are going to be in a beautiful place.
Can Lluc is a former farmhouse, surrounded by olive, fig and pine trees, that has been transformed into a luxury boutique hotel in Ibiza. For three years, owners Tina Siriano and Lucas Prats were busy refurbishing the 200-year-old finca, turning the former house, stables and barns into beautiful rooms, a restaurant and reception area. Original stone walls and roofs are still standing in most places, and the furnishings have been made with objects from the past. Something that makes for the authentic and typical finca atmosphere.
As soon as you park your car, the staff gives you a friendly welcome. And from here, a nicely constructed walking path takes you to the main building, the rooms and the pool. Everywhere you look, you see palms, plants, butterflies, flowers and little lizards looking around curiously.
What is a hotel rural and agroturismo on Ibiza? These are small-scale accommodations in a quiet and rural setting. Great places to experience the Ibiza atmosphere, without having to deal with crowds or mass tourism. I couldn’t recommend these type of boutique hotels more.
Boutique hotel rural Can Lluc in Ibiza has 20 rooms, scattered around the property. Because Can Lluc is large and set in the middle of nature, it has a small scale and boutique style feel. Things that always make me very happy. Paths connect the buildings and provide plenty of privacy. There are 12 double rooms around the main building and 10 villas a bit further down the road, which you can rent with several people. Some of them have a large garden of their own.
I stayed in a double room. Not too big but including everything you need. And the best thing is the private terrace! There is nothing better than sitting here at the end of the day and enjoy a glass of wine.
Tip: Would you like to stay with a group of people in hotel rural Can Lluc – agroturismo on Ibiza? You might want to rent one of the villas or the former farmhouse in its entirety. In fact, there are several rooms and common areas located here. The perfect place if you want to spend some time together, while still enjoying privacy.

Make sure to walk to El Mirador, the viewpoint. Here you have a good view of the surroundings and at the end of the day it is possible to observe a beautiful sunset. Don’t forget to bring a glass of wine with you!
